The last time I updated my blog was last year, probably five to six months or maybe even more than that. I never planned to abandon my little internet space, I loved this space! It’s just there are things that I needed to think about, things that I went through, and things that I need to fix on my own. It was also an eye opener for me to be honest.
It’s funny that I’m writing this, and you probably will laugh about it and say, “Oh, she isn’t over with him yet. It’s been a year, move on girl!” Actually I’m over with it. This will be just few realizations I had over the year.
Every people we come across and even who left a remarkable note in our life will always leave a life lesson — either you’ll keep it your entire life and learn from it. Relationships are tough, and I’m sure breakups will make you a stronger person. With every tear you shed and smile you had, it will always teach us a lesson.
I’ve been in a relationship before and after a year of the break up, here I am – much focused on work, family and myself. Other than that, that breakup taught me few life and love lessons and reason why I’m writing this post is to share them to you.
That’s what I felt
When you lean for a kiss.
Is this real?
Has it been real?
I can’t fathom the idea of love
As you slowly lean over
Starts to stare in my eye
Heart beats faster.
It’s more than a thousand butterflies
More than how a child’s sweet happiness
Time starts to tick,
As I close my eyes
And remembered how it all started
The warmth of your touch
And the warmth of a first kiss
We all come across a thousand people or even more. Don’t you ever wonder sometimes if in that crowd, your soulmate or maybe your future husband or wife is there? You’ve already crossed path, but since the time is not perfect you won’t be able to see them. Have you ever wondered about that? Well I probably do – sometimes.
Tell me why do I still wait,
As if you’re coming back.
I still think it is our fate,
And I have to accept that you will never be back.
It may take a lot of time,
For me to be fine.
Or maybe I should go on a highest climb,
And shout to the world that you will never be mine.
“Long Distance Relationship (LDR) is an intimate relationship between two partners
who are geographically isolated from one another.”
— Long Distance Relationship on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long-distance_relationship)
In this present time, most relationships started over the internet. Whether you signed up for a “dating-site”, gave comment to a post and talked almost every day after that or you started as a close distance partners but the other one had to go abroad maybe for work, school or migration. These are some instances why long distance relationships happens.
